In Sicily, for some years now, the cultivation of rice has been carried out in an eco-sustainable way, recovering a historical tradition linked to the Arab era. This new agricultural practice uses innovative techniques that allow for a water saving of about 50%, respecting the principles of organic agriculture. Thanks to these sustainable methods, the island contributes to the production of high-quality rice, with a reduced environmental impact, promoting a more responsible agricultural model in harmony with the territory.
